About the Gators
The Devon Crest
Swim Team (DCST) is a summer age-group team in the Mid-Penn Swim
League. Swimmers, ages 5-18, participate in dual meets, optional
invitational meets, as well as Divisional Championship, All-Star,
and Mid-Cap Championship meets. Also, the team hosts the Devon
Crest Novice Meet, a swim meet for 1st time swimmers or
summer-only swimmers.
The mission of
Devon Crest Swim Team is to provide a structured and fun
environment which fosters the competitive spirit of team members,
and helps members to improve their swimming technique, physical
fitness, and self-esteem, as well as develop a sense of team
unity.
A summer season on
our team includes Drag Day, Pancake Fridays, the Swim-a-thon,
Coach's Bon Fire, movie with the coaches, and an Evening at Devon
– just to name a few. Join us for a summer that's competitive
and fun. Go Gators!!!
Please note
this is not a learn-to-swim program. To be eligible to join
the team, swimmers must be able to swim both freestyle and
backstroke for one length of the pool - 25 yards. Devon Manor
Swim Club does offer a 2-week learn-to-swim clinic to its
